Where does the data come from?
+
From DataForSEO, which aggregates Google Ads data, live Google results, a backlink index and an index of AI answers. It is the same kind of data foundation the large SEO suites are built on, sold here per search instead of per month.
What is a credit?
+
One credit is roughly one simple lookup. A keyword overview or a live SERP costs 1 credit. Larger pulls cost more: a list of up to 1,000 backlinks costs 10 credits, and an AI Visibility overview costs 4 because the AI answer index is the most expensive data we buy. The price is shown on every button before you click.
Do credits expire?
+
No. Credits stay in your account until you use them, whether that is tomorrow or in two years.
Do I need a credit card to try it?
+
No. Sign up with your email and you get 20 credits to spend on any tool. You only enter a card if you decide to buy more.
What does AI Visibility actually show?
+
Whether Google AI Overviews and ChatGPT cite your domain in their answers, for which prompts, which of your pages they cite, and which competing sites they cite instead. Prompt Check runs a single prompt live on Google AI Overview, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT and Gemini and shows you the answer and its sources. ChatGPT index data covers the United States in English; every other country is Google AI Overviews.
Which countries are covered?
+
Keyword, domain and AI data cover 47 countries in 55 country and language combinations, including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Spain, the Nordics and most of Europe, Latin America and Asia. Backlink data is global and not tied to a country.
Is there a minimum purchase or a subscription?
+
Neither. The smallest package is $7 for 50 credits. There is no recurring charge, so there is nothing to cancel.
Can I get a refund?
+
Spent credits cannot be refunded, because every search buys live data the moment you run it. You always see the cost before you click, and repeating a search you already ran costs nothing.
Can I use it from Claude or ChatGPT?
+
Yes. SearcherLite is also an MCP server (Model Context Protocol). Add it as a custom connector in Claude, Cowork or ChatGPT, log in with your SearcherLite account, and ask in plain language. Every lookup is paid from the same credits as the app, the cost is stated before each call, calls of 10 credits or more ask for confirmation first, and you can set a daily spending cap. Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients work too.
Can I export the results?
+
Yes. Every table can be sorted, filtered and exported to CSV without spending more credits, and every search you run is kept in your history so you can reopen it later.
Who is SearcherLite for?
+
People who need professional SEO data a few times a week rather than all day: freelancers, small agencies, in-house marketers, bloggers and founders. If you run hundreds of reports a day, a subscription tool will likely be cheaper.
